1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using FarmTrack ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Zambian law to use FarmTrack.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- Notify us immediately at hello@farm-track.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Each person may hold one account. Sharing accounts between farms is permitted but each user is individually responsible for data they enter.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to store or transmit illegal content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or copy the platform.
- Use the SMS feature to send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Share your Supabase credentials or API keys publicly.
5. Free Tier & Paid Features
FarmTrack is free for farms under 5 hectares and for early-access users. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers with 60 days' notice. Existing users will not lose access to features they currently use without explicit agreement.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, code, brand assets and UI design of FarmTrack are owned by Richard Ndou / FarmTrack Zambia. Your farm data belongs to you — we claim no ownership over records you create.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in-app. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
FarmTrack provides farm management tools. We are not responsible for agricultural decisions made using information from the app. Always consult qualified agricultural extension officers for critical farming advice.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to any claim, or ZMW 500, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings or by emailing us. On deletion, your data is removed within 30 days.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.
